Our swimming program is one of the highlights of the day.
All campers take a swim test on the first day of each session and are
placed in swim groups according to ability. The program includes both
lessons and free time. The lessons are taught by certified Saint Ann's staff or hired swim instructors from St. Francis College. All campers in the Specialty- and General Camp Program swim every Monday through Thursday and occasionally on Fridays at the St. Francis College pool. The pool is 75 feet long and is equipped with 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards.The Ladybugs swim two to three times a week while the Fireflies swim three to four times a week. The Preschool campers do not participate in the swimming program. They will enjoy splashing in the inflatable pool and the sprinkler and water spray equipment in the backyard at Henry Street. |
