About the High School some quick facts

  • Our High School is located at 129 Pierrepont Street, our main building.
  • We have approximately 350 students in the high school with about 85-90 students per grade.
  • Saint Ann’s students all complete a common set of core requirements to graduate, however, they all go well beyond the minimum and no two schedules look alike. Please be sure to peruse our High School Course Catalog for 2023-2024.

High School Application Process for 2024-2025

Places in the 9th grade are available depending on attrition from our current 8th grade class and a small expansion in class size from Middle School to High School. Using the past few years as a guide, we expect to be able to offer around 15 places to new students for the fall of 2024.

Please note: Grades 10 and 11 are not usual entry points but we will happily accept applications and process supplementary materials (see below) in case of an opening. We will schedule interviews on a case-by-case basis if a spot arises. There is no fee to submit a 10th or 11th grade application and the deadline to apply is November 15, 2023.

Open Houses/Tours

Virtual High School Open Houses

-Any student interested in applying to the 9th grade must attend one of our virtual open house events. Each session will follow a webinar format and will be an opportunity to learn about our school’s philosophy, program and community. During a typical open house you will have the chance to hear from our High School division head and current high school students. We devote a portion of each event to a Q&A. We will record these sessions for those who aren’t able to attend. To sign up, please visit our online registration page. Please note: It is not necessary to have submitted an application before attending an open house.

Virtual Open Houses on Diversity and Institutional Equity

-We will be hosting a virtual open house on diversity and institutional equity for interested families. This event will follow a webinar format and are open to families applying to any/all grades. You can sign up for this event at any point in the application process by going here.

Small Group Tours for Applicants

-Students who decide to complete a high school application will be invited to attend a small-group tour of Saint Ann’s later in the process. These tours will allow them to observe snippets of a variety of classes, to see our facilities, and to get a more intimate look into the life of the school. At the end, the group will meet with a member of the High School Administration, to chat and ask questions about what they saw (or didn’t see!). These tours will be for students only and we will reach out about scheduling these at some point after we receive a completed online application.
