NOTE: The middle school grades are not typical points of entry to Saint Ann's School. Therefore, we usually do not schedule interviews for middle school applicants unless space becomes available.

The Application Process:
Request an Application Packet
Schedule a Tour
- Middle School tours are for parents only.
- You may schedule a tour at any point in the process by calling our office at 718-522-1660, extension 313 or contacting us by email.
- You do not need to apply to attend a tour.
- See directions and a map.
Submit an Application
- Download the application.
- The back of the application should be completed by the applicant . If you wish, feel free to include any supplementary materials that would help us to know your child and her/his interests. Please bear in mind that anything you send must be able to fit in a file folder.
- Download the Lower Middle School Teacher Evaluation (4th and 5th grades only).
- Download the Records Release Form (4th through 8th grades).
- There is a non-refundable application fee of $75.00 per application.
More on the application requirements
- All 4th and 5th grade applicants need to be tested by the Educational Records Bureau, which provides a reading comprehension test. Please visit their website to schedule an appointment.
- We require the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination), which is also administered through the Educational Records Bureau, for 6th to 8th grade applicants.
- We do not require recommendations. If there is someone who has worked with the applicant who would like to write a letter on his or her behalf, they may do so. It should be mailed or emailed to us before the end of January.
Interview
- We will only interview Middle School applicants if space permits. If we are able to offer the applicant an interview, we will contact you.
Notification Dates
- Fourth through eighth grade notification letters will be mailed on Wednesday, February 4th.
