I was on my dad’s shoulders
It was winter
The floor was iced over
It looked like we were walking on
glass
He was holding my feet so I didn’t fall
My dad let go of my
feet
to unlock the door
I was falling
And then I stopped
I heard a rip
It was my jacket
But I was saved
My dad had caught my hood
But he ruined my jacket.
