I was little, almost too little to remember.
I was little, almost too little to remember. A black dog was underneath me and my mother’s arms around me. My blonde straight hair trailed behind me As we went out the door. Invincible, we were as one force against one hundred, Yet we always came out on top. Together we fought them all, And won, I don’t remember much, but I remember a black dog, A black dog with a gray snout, A gray snout with a large body, A large body with little legs. With large legs and a gentle heart she carries me away.
