Poem of the Day: 22 May 2010

I luxate eight limbs

I luxate eight limbs
Strung from silk slivers, I weave
Scaffold, absorb orbs.

Catherine S. (High School, 2009-10) (p#7765)

The Fly

He buzzes around the room
and lands on the dusty red cupboard
covering himself with filth.
He moves in time
to get away from the hand.

Kate H. (Middle School, 2009-10) (p#7766)

Make something

Make something
Start something
Make it and don’t stop
Your eyes become your lungs
Your hands your heart
Try it and see what you have made

Nicholas Z. (Middle School, 2009-10) (p#7767)
