The Middle School Reading Series
Here at Saint Ann's we have an incredible community of readers and writers in the middle school. In an effort to encourage them, the English Department and the Library have joined forces. We proudly present The Middle School Reading Series.

We have many fabulous authors coming to speak to each grade:

 

Special Event! Middle School Manga Workshop: September, 2009  
  Misako Rocks
 

Misako Rocks is the author and illustrator of Detective Jermain, Biker Girl and Rock and Roll Love. She has come two years in a row to talk to kids about growing up in Japan and to teach them how to draw their own manga. It's always so much fun!

David Levithan read to the 8th grade. He is the author of Boy Meets Boy, Are We There Yet?, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (co-authored with Rachel Cohn), and his latest How We Met, among many others. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist recently came out as a major motion picture.
