Problem of the Week
for Friday, March 30
Larry and Hannah found a large box of red, blue and green light bulbs
and decided to use them to make a colorful sign displaing the school initials.
They attached the light sockets to the signboard in this pattern:
Larry will choose the light bulb colors for the "S", and Hannah will choose the color pattern for the "A."
They both agree not to place any light bulb next to another of the same color.
Who has more design possibilities?
