Problem of the Week
for Friday, March 18
| You have six chocolate Easter eggs to share with your friend. Two are wrapped in blue foil, two in pink, and two in silver. One of each color is plain and the other has peanuts (to which your friend is highly allergic). Unfortunately they got all mixed up in your backpack, and you need to figure out which is which. You happen to know that the peanut ones weigh slightly less than the plain ones, so you decide to ask Chris if you can use his special Egg-a-Weigh Egg Scale. He says yes, but you can only use it twice. (He's a little protective of it). What do you do? (Note: the Egg-a-Weigh cannot tell you the weight of each side, only which is heavier) |
