SUMMER PROGRAM
(2ND - 6TH GRADE)
129 and 153 Pierrepont Street

Students entering second through sixth grades can enjoy an activity-filled summer in our camp program.

The program is divided into two 3-week sessions. For the first session, students may choose from four different specialty programs: Arts, Gymnastics, Soccer and Basketball, Science and Library. ( See Specialty Programs for more information.)

The second session will offer a variety of activities such as sports, drama, art, film making, claymation and computing. Students are divided into groups which are supervised by a Saint Ann's faculty member who is assisted by several energetic high school counselors and middle school counselors-in-training.

Each day begins at 9:00 a.m. when students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities during the two morning periods. They can decide to participate in a drama production, or work on an art project. Computing is always popular, and students can have fun while improving their computer skills. For those interested in something more physical, sports classes are offered in different gym spaces.

Lunch is at 12:00 pm. If the weather permits we eat outside in a nearby park. Students must bring their own lunch each day. After lunch, the children are free to relax and spend time with their friends.

In the afternoon we head off to the pool at St. Francis College, where the children can cool off while improving their swimming skills.

On Fridays the entire camp participates in some special in-house activity or field trip - the beach, a museum, the zoo or other interesting sites in and around the city.

The students are dismissed at 3:00 pm or may continue the day in the After School Program .
